A Three Week Trek And Volunteering in Nepal
Total Program Fee: $700
Upon volunteers' arrival, they will be picked up at the airport in Kathmandu and taken to either a hotel or a host family, where they will have your orientation appropriate to length of volunteering and needed.
During this time, they will participate in a 3 day volunteer orientation designed to ensure a smooth transition into Nepali culture life and a productive contribution to the local community. The orientation will provide you with extensive information about their new work situation, as well as tips on handling intercultural issues. After completion their training and orientation they will be taken to your placement.

The language and cultural class will be run for 3 hours (10 AM- 1 PM) a day and rest of the day participants will be taken for sight-seeing of some of the most famous cultural sites in the city of Kathmandu, as well as hiking in the outlying areas of Kathmandu by experience tour guides.
Day 5, 6, 7, 8, 9.10,11, 12 Home Stay and Community Service Project (8 days)

Annapurna Classic Trek ( 9 Days)
 This week-long trek in the Annapurna foothills to the top of Poon Hill is one of the most pleasant trekking areas. Easy to Moderate trekking from an altitude of 900m to a maximum 3,000m, this trek offers spectacular mountain scenery, charming settlements of Gurungs and their slate-roofed houses, incredible rhododendron forests ablaze with ivory, rose, apricot and crimson bouquets and deep sub-tropical valleys all set below the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range. The sunrise over Machhapuchhre or Fishtail (6,993m) from Poonhill is simply breath taking as the sun changes its color from pink to gold to silver – a rewarding experience.
Day 13
Kathmandu to Pokhara drive 6 hours and check in hotel. Remaining day leisure
Day 14
Afternoon, drive from Pokhara to Phedi, the trek start point. Commence trek to Dhampus (1,800m) 3 hrs walk.
Day 15
Trek from Dhampus to Landrung (1,680m) 6 hrs walk.
Day 16
Trek from Landrung to Ghandrung (1,980m) 2 hrs. walk. Explore this fascinating Gurung village.
Day 17
Trek from Ghandrung to Tadapani (2,904m) 5 hrs walk.
Day 18 Trek from Tadapani to Ghorepani (2,830m) 5 hrs. walk.
Day 19 Early morning hike to Poon Hill to see sunrise and then trek down to Tirkhedhunga (1,577m) 6 hrs. walk.
Day 20
Trek from Tirkhedhunga to Nayapool (5 hrs. walk) and then drive to Pokhara
